What you will work on

Own and manage day-to-day HR operations, ensuring all employee lifecycle processes are compliant, efficient, and well-documented.

  • Maintain and administer HR documentation (employment contracts, amendments, policies, internal orders, leave records, and other statutory documents) in accordance with the Labour Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

  • Support the onboarding of new employees from a legal and labor compliance perspective, including contract preparation, document verification, and regulatory registrations where required.

  • Coordinate and manage relocation processes for international employees, including employment formalities, local compliance requirements, and integration into Kazakhstan’s legal framework.

  • Act as the internal point of contact for labor law matters and employee relations, ensuring fair, compliant, and well-structured resolution of workplace issues.

  • Partner with leadership and external advisors (legal, accounting, migration services) to ensure HR practices align with local legislation and global standards.

  • Ensure accurate maintenance of personnel files, HRIS data, and reporting required by local authorities and internal stakeholders.

  • Support audits, inspections, and internal reviews by ensuring full compliance with Kazakhstan labor regulations and proper record-keeping.

  • Contribute to building scalable HR operational processes as the company grows internationally.

Your must haves

Strong, hands-on experience in HR Operations within Kazakhstan, with deep practical knowledge of the Labour Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

  • Proven ability to manage HR documentation and employment processes in full legal compliance.

  • Experience supporting employee onboarding, contract administration, and personnel record management.

  • Familiarity with relocation and employment of foreign nationals in Kazakhstan, including coordination with relevant authorities and service providers.

  • Solid understanding of labor relations, employee communications, and dispute handling in a corporate environment.

  • High attention to detail and ability to work confidently with legal and regulatory frameworks.

  • Strong organizational and process-building skills in fast-paced, scaling environments.

  • Excellent written and spoken Kazakh, Russian & English.
