An AI Strategist is a high-agency operator + storyteller who turns trends into content that actually performs.
This role combines growth research, trend analysis, and YouTube scriptwriting into one end-to-end function:
You identify what should be made, and you help define how it should be told.
This is a hands-on role. You research, decide, write, and iterate. No ivory-tower strategy.
What you will work on
Trend, Platform & AI Research
Track emerging trends in GenAI, AI tools, YouTube formats, and social platforms.
Monitor creators, features, and content patterns driving outsized engagement.
Identify what’s gaining traction early—and what’s already saturated.
Content Strategy & Ideation
Translate research into clear, high-leverage content ideas.
Propose video concepts, series, and formats with strong distribution potential.
Prioritize ideas based on reach, watch time, engagement, and revenue impact.
Scriptwriting & Storytelling
Write or heavily shape YouTube scripts from hook to CTA.
Craft strong openings, narrative flow, explanations, and payoff moments.
Adapt scripts for different formats: tutorials, comparisons, explainers, trend reactions.
Execution & Collaboration
Work closely with YouTube Managers, Screenwriters, and Editors to ship content fast.
Create structured briefs, outlines, and content calendars the team can execute on.
Ensure scripts and ideas align with production realities and platform dynamics.
Analytics, Iteration & Experimentation
Analyze performance to decide what to double down on, tweak, or kill.
Learn quickly from data and audience behavior.
Propose and run new experiments based on emerging trends and results.
Your must haves
We want smart, high-agency operators, not resume keyword collectors.
You should have:
Strong curiosity about AI, GenAI tools, YouTube, and social media.
Ability to turn messy signals into clear, actionable decisions.
Strong writing skills with an instinct for hooks and clarity.
Clear written and spoken English.
A bias toward action: research and scripts only matter if they ship and perform.
Backgrounds that often do well:
Growth researchers or content strategists
YouTube or social media writers with strong analytical instincts
Digital marketers with execution bias
Journalists or analysts who can write compellingly
Founders, operators, or startup generalists
